For Payne there’s nothing sadder than moving back to his hometown newly divorced, homeless, and lost for what his next move is. When his little brother’s best friend offers him a place to stay in exchange for menial duties, He swallows my pride and jumps at the offer. He also needs Beau to wear a shirt. And ditch the grey sweatpants. And not leave his door ajar when he’s in compromising positions. Since Beau's career took off, he barely had time to breathe, let alone keep his life in order. He's naturally chaotic, makes terrible decisions, and scares off potential dates with his “weirdness”. So when Payne gets back into town and needs somewhere to stay, he offers him his spare room with one condition: while he’s staying he needs him to help him become date-able. He has no idea what to do about the fact that Payne is the only man he's ever wanted to date.
This was a sweet story as Payne struggled to get his life back together after his divorce and Beau tries to help while also resisting his need for Payne. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
