When Rush shows up to surprise his boyfriend in a barely-there festive outfit, he's expecting him to be alone. Not hosting his fiancé’s family. His saving grace is the fact that he never has to see either of them ever, ever again. Until he walks into work and comes face to face with his new boss. Hunter never, in a million years, would have guessed the man hiding under his desk at work would be the one person he hoped to never see again - his ex-fiancé’s side piece. Rush tells Hunter he didn’t know about him and there were others. We come up with a plan to show him what it feels like when you want someone who doesn’t want you back. All we need is a camera. His number. And one shared kiss. Revenge has never been sweeter.
I loved this story of a relationship which rose from the ashes of betrayal. The feelings and emotions were very central to the story and it was very easy to become fully invested in both men and their relationship. There was an additional theme around Hunter's housing situation which added a good related side theme. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
