Pilan arrived in town to make a living as an artist and fell for a rich man's promises before he saw him for what he was - a human who had a thing for young omegas, tossing them aside once they hit the ripe old age of twenty-five or less. With limited options, he hopes that the Male-Order Mates app will help him find a true mate as far away from the ugliness as possible. Stefano's brother signed him up for a Male-Order mate without letting him know. He has no choice but to buy the omega a train ticket back. It isn’t fair not to. But then he bounds off the train, excitement and joy flowing from him, making the town a better place just by his presence, and he finds himself sliding the ticket back into his pocket. Maybe his brother was right after all. His bear sure seems to think so.
This was a sweet story of how Shy chef Stefano and artist Pilan were matched by the mail order mates app. I loved that he cooked to relieve stress and that Pilan was such a cute animal shifter. A little indecision but easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
