Prince Herix becomes heir when his brother leaves Thulnara for his mate on Earth, and he must now find his own destined partner before one is chosen for him. A soothsayer reveals his true mate is also on Earth — so Herix breaks tradition and goes to find him. In a seaside town, Alpha Lennox runs a small B&B and has been saving one room for the man he’s seen in dreams. When Herix arrives, Lennox knows instantly he’s the one.
A nice, easy fated‑mates romance between a human and an alien, this story had a gentle charm even if it wasn’t particularly inspiring. I enjoyed reading it, especially the way their connection unfolded across worlds, but it didn’t quite deliver the emotional depth I hoped for. Still, the pairing had a sweet appeal, and the destined‑bond angle kept the story moving. A pleasant read overall, even if it doesn’t stand out among other fated mates stories. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
