This story was a bittersweet collision of devotion, autonomy, and a quiet rebellion against a brutal system. I enjoyed reading it but found at times it became farcical which was a shame. I found it hard to believe that two people who were intelligent enough to hide their relationship were so clueless about other things. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
