Review: Sem by Cora Rose 4 of 5 stars

Sem

Sem by Cora Rose
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Magnus has spent months being stalked by Sem, a massive, reckless, and undeniably feral man who seems obsessed with him. Sem lurks in the background, always watching, always present. Magnus doesn’t understand the fixation—until one night, Sem breaks into his apartment and dares him to do something wild. Against his better judgment, Magnus accepts. Then he does it again. And again. What starts as a dangerous game turns into something deeper. As Magnus begins to see the man beneath the intimidating exterior, he wonders if falling for Sem might be the most reckless gamble of all.

I enjoyed this story, which plays with themes of obsession, unexpected attraction, and the blurred lines between danger and desire. I thought of it as a light version of a dark story. At times, I wanted to hug them both. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
