Anders has done some morally grey things to survive—including robbing a man he later discovers is part of the infamous Moretti mafia family. Now hunted and haunted by that mistake, he finds himself tangled with Luca Moretti, who isn’t just unbothered by the robbery—he’s obsessed. As their connection deepens, Anders is forced to confront the growing power Luca sees in him, and the possibility of reclaiming his life on his own terms… with a mafia prince willingly kneeling at his feet.
I enjoyed this story which was gritty, seductive, and pulsing with chaotic energy. Anders was very strong given the situation he was in and I loved the way that Luca tried to give him choices and not make decisions for him. Lots of emotions and feelings. This was an MM story with mature content.
