Review: Someone to Keep Me by K.C. Wells by Parker Williams 5 of 5 stars

Someone to Keep Me

Someone to Keep Me by K.C. Wells by Parker Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Eighteen-year-old Scott Keating escapes a strict and sheltered life by connecting online with “JeffUK,” who promises love and a new beginning in the UK. But when Scott arrives and Jeff is nowhere to be found, fear and confusion take hold. Ben Winters, a kind-hearted Dom-in-training, spots the stranded teen at the airport and offers him shelter and a way forward. As Scott finds comfort at Collars & Cuffs, both he and Ben long for deep emotional connection—but they’re too close to see that what they each need might be standing right beside them.

I loved this story with the unusual way that they met and fell into a D/s dynamic.  There’s a lovely innocence laced through this story—especially in how both men yearn for belonging but move cautiously toward it. They both had their own demons to handle and at one point I would have gladly throttled Ben for his stubbornness and stupidity! A great many emotions and feelings in this story that were all easy to feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.
