Review: Morrison by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars

Morrison

Morrison by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Morrison suspects a deeper agenda behind a string of jewel heists, but he’s always one step behind—until a chance encounter changes the game. During a robbery, Sadie is caught in the chaos and disturbed by a familiar face behind a thief’s mask. Unable to ignore the implications, she steps forward. Thrust together, Morrison and Sadie form an uneasy partnership, their investigation weaving through layers of suspicion, buried truths, and a growing emotional tension. As they close in on the criminals, they must navigate blurred loyalties and hard choices, where what’s at stake isn’t just justice—but trust itself.

This was a story full of suspense and emotional tensions as Morrison and Sadie tried to uncover the clues and understand their meanings with the twist that they were connected to Sadie. This played on emotions and feelings plus torturous decisions on loyalty. Easy to feel and understand.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
