My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Ian, a cute and hardworking nurse, dreams of a fresh start in the welcoming small town of Kirkby. While participating in the town's first Pride festival, he reluctantly agrees to run the kissing booth. An unexpected kiss from his friend Frankie rescues him from an awkward situation and sparks a surprising connection that turns Ian's life upside down. Despite the distance between them and potential obstacles, Ian hopes to build a future with Frankie and find a place to call home, navigating unexpected surprises and revelations along the way.
I loved this story with nurse Ian getting his own HEA with Frankie and his son Ty. I loved how Ian was close to Ty before he and Frankie started a relationship. Lots of emotions and feelings that were mostly positive and good apart from those involving a different person who had problems with accepting the word "No". This was an MM story with mature content.
