In an enchanted kingdom, Misha, a traumatized omega prince, bravely chose to stay in the magical world but is struggling to cope. Despite meeting his fated mate, Azurus, he isn't experiencing the typical omega heat. Misha longs for normalcy and happiness, believing Azurus might be his only hope. Azurus, a dragon alpha prince and warrior, is heartbroken and unprepared to help his shy mate heal from his inner demons. As a last resort, he takes Misha to his mother, Queen Gaia. She sends them on a quest to find three magical items, a journey that could either unite them or tear them apart permanently.
This was a sweet story of how the quest helped to cure them both and their relationship from the blackness and sadness that was afflicting Misha (a bit like a mental health problem). I loved that the quest brought them both together and deepen their relationship. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story. This was an MM story with mature content.
