My rating: 5 of 5 stars
After surviving three harrowing months in the clutches of a serial killer, Phoenix Briar is rescued—but not free. The killer still wants him, and the official channels can’t offer true safety. Enter the Saint brothers, a group of dangerously skilled men who take him in. Among them is Noel, a jaded tech genius who’s always avoided attachments… until Phoenix. As the killer draws closer, Phoenix and Noel’s bond deepens into something neither saw coming—fragile, fierce, and worth everything. But with time running out, protecting Phoenix might demand more than either is ready to lose.
I loved this story which was raw, intimate, and fiercely protective—a story where survival is just the beginning. There were a lot of emotions, feelings and tenderness. I loved the relationship between Phoenix and Noel who gave the right balance of tenderness and protectiveness. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
