Twice the Problems

Twice the Problems by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After marrying a wealthy older man and gaining a fortune, Salem inherits more than just riches when his husband JD dies—he also becomes the reluctant guardian of JD’s two grown ex-stepsons, Dodge and Quest. Though beautiful and not exactly brilliant, the young men have a deep bond with each other and with Salem, whom they now live with in the inherited mansion. As they navigate grief, inheritance, and close quarters, the lines blur between affection and something far more intimate. Dodge and Quest want Salem to see them as equals—not dependents—and they’re not shy about wanting more than just a roof over their heads. Salem’s problem isn’t just keeping them in line—it’s keeping his own heart in check.

I loved this story which was both darkly comedic domestic chaos and a taboo longing for each other. I loved the interactions between the three men and the other characters and hope to meet them in other books in the series. Lots of big emotions and feelings. This was an MMM story with mature content.
