This is a sweet setup for a potentially heartwarming story! It centres on Jasper, a new teacher who's thrilled about his permanent job prospects and finds himself unexpectedly drawn to Austin, the school's principal. Austin, a successful and focused man dealing with his own ex and the potential full custody of his dog Penny, is equally attracted to Jasper, creating a "complicated" situation they both need to navigate.
I loved this story with the two men who had so much in common and had a smoking hot attraction. There were many reasons for emotions and feelings both in their own relationship and their relationships with others. Austin's ex really was despicable and it feels almost impossible for them to have ever been together. This was an MM story with mature content.
