Review: A Past Too Broken by Abrianna Denae 4 of 5 stars

A Past Too Broken

A Past Too Broken by Abrianna Denae
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Zayid Moran is a sniper who finds his solitary, professional life disrupted when a target is stolen from him. This incident thrusts him into an unwanted game of cat and mouse with Minato Walsh. Minato, who has been meticulously planning his revenge, initially taunts Zayid, but he soon finds himself unexpectedly drawn to the assassin. As their dangerous game intensifies, their connection grows, but Minato's traumatic past resurfaces, leaving him vulnerable. The narrative then shifts to a fight for survival, forcing Zayid and Minato to confront their undeniable connection and decide if they're willing to fight for each other amidst the escalating danger.

I enjoyed this short story which was full of emotions and feelings as Zavid and Minato clashed over targets. I loved how the tension between them both was electric and how them coming together was inevitable. I loved the involvement of Reggie. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story.
