This story plunges into a gripping supernatural conflict where Malachi, a Sentinel stationed at the Rocky Mountain lair, is suddenly called to Aspen by Archangel Michael. A high-level Nephilim has been kidnapped by shadow gargoyles, and the ransom demand is a powerful relic that cannot be sacrificed, even for someone of such importance. Meanwhile, Danny, a ski instructor fleeing his wealthy and disapproving family, finds himself caught in an unexpected danger after being drugged at a local bar. With betrayal from an unforeseen source threatening their unborn child, Malachi and Danny must navigate treacherous battles—not just against the rogues, but within their own ranks. As the Slayers fight to dismantle the enemy, the clock is ticking to save Malachi’s new family from destruction.
This story was packed with high-stakes action, emotional turmoil, and an intense supernatural backdrop. There were emotions, feelings, and a lot of explanation as to what was going on. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.
