Ben, now twenty-one, has long harbored a quiet infatuation with Cash and Ford—two older men who are not only twice his age but also his father’s best friends. Though he once believed his feelings would remain a secret fantasy, Ben now finds himself entangled in a hidden, passionate connection with both men. He knows it’s unsustainable and fraught with emotional risk: if anyone—especially his father—uncovers the truth, the fallout would be devastating. Yet, despite the inevitability of heartbreak and impossibility of lasting love, Ben can’t stop himself from chasing what he’s always wanted, even if it means losing everything.
I enjoyed this story which was emotionally charged and ripe with that tension between desire, secrecy, and the impossible hope for something more. Some parts of the story were a bit farcical but others were just full of emotions and feelings. This was an MMM story with mature content.
