Leighton has always felt most alive in the chaos of combat, questioning whether he’s destined to chase ever-growing adrenaline rushes just to feel something real. As gunfire erupts and flames consume the battlefield, Leighton faces a moment of reckoning, staring at Bo with fear and uncertainty, wondering if he’s finally stepped beyond his comfort zone—or straight into his worst nightmare.
I loved this story with the two men who were drawn together even though it was frowned upon. So many special moments around them and their families (found and actual) as well as danger and drama in their work. I just loved these two men and their relationship. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
