Review: Relentlessly Vengeful Ghost by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Relentlessly Vengeful Ghost

Relentlessly Vengeful Ghost by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ghost has no memory of his life before an overdose left him for dead seven years ago, and he’s spent every day since hunting the Sleepless Reapers who destroyed him. Breaking into the wrong house puts him in the path of Alessio, a mafioso who becomes an unexpected source of devotion and steadiness. Ghost doesn’t have time for feelings, but Alessio is the first person to make him want more than vengeance. As Ghost pursues his revenge, the two form a dark, fragile connection — two men keeping each other company in the shadows while they fight their demons.

This story dives deep into the trauma Ghost endured at the hands of the Sleepless Reapers, and it’s that history of abuse that fuels every step of his relentless quest for vengeance. His pain is raw and ever‑present, giving the book a powerful emotional core. What really stood out to me was the connection between Ghost and Alessio — unexpected, intense, and slowly transformative. Alessio’s steady devotion becomes the first thing to pull Ghost toward something resembling a real life, even if he can only take small steps out of the darkness. Their bond grows in quiet, careful moments, and the emotional weight of that journey is beautifully handled. The story is packed with feeling — anger, grief, longing, and the fragile hope that healing might be possible. It’s gripping, emotional, and full of heart. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Review: Desperately Delicate Viper by K.M. Neuhold 3 of 5 stars

Desperately Delicate Viper

Desperately Delicate Viper by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Anders has done some morally grey things to survive—including robbing a man he later discovers is part of the infamous Moretti mafia family. Now hunted and haunted by that mistake, he finds himself tangled with Luca Moretti, who isn’t just unbothered by the robbery—he’s obsessed. As their connection deepens, Anders is forced to confront the growing power Luca sees in him, and the possibility of reclaiming his life on his own terms… with a mafia prince willingly kneeling at his feet.

I enjoyed this story which was gritty, seductive, and pulsing with chaotic energy. Anders was very strong given the situation he was in and I loved the way that Luca tried to give him choices and not make decisions for him. Lots of emotions and feelings. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Delicious: An MM/MMM Charity Anthology by Charlie Novak 5 of 5 stars

Delicious: An MM/MMM Charity Anthology

Delicious: An MM/MMM Charity Anthology by Charlie Novak
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Delicious is a charity anthology packed with seventeen contemporary romance short stories, serving up a tempting mix of meet cutes, second chances, small-town charm, and plenty of spice. From taco trucks to celebrity chefs, this collection blends love and food into a mouthwatering experience. All proceeds benefit LGBTQ+ charities Switchboard and akt.

A great value collection of short stories written by some great authors. All were well written and the characters and settings very well described with all the emotions and feelings easy to understand. These are MM or MMM stories with mature content.

Beth Bolden -Piece of Cake - At Morettis Marco found that love might not be out of reach for him when an old school friend returns to town all grown up and a talented pastry chef in his own right.

K.M. Neuhold - Taco Dirty to Me - This was a fun story full of humour.

Charlie Novak - Loaf of My Life - was such a sweet story as two lonely men met and fell in love all via insomnia for one of them and early shifts baking various goods for the other.

EM Lindsey - The Deaf Chef - A deaf food truck chef and a deaf translator meet and fall in love.

Review: Unhinged Little Angel by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Unhinged Little Angel

Unhinged Little Angel by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dante, desperate and unhinged, forces mafia capo Salvatore Moretti into marriage at gunpoint. Haunted by his past and demons, Dante finds unexpected protection and unraveling of his defenses in Salvatore, who sees him as his "little angel." As their bond deepens, Dante begins to crave the safety and connection Salvatore offers, even as danger looms. What starts as a forced arrangement begins to feel real, leaving Dante questioning if their marriage could be more than just a means of survival.

This was an entertaining read as Dante was so fierce and managed to make Salvatore do things (although I believe that Sal humoured him and could have easily taken back control). Some emotions and feelings which were easy to feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Beautifully Savage Butterfly by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Beautifully Savage Butterfly

Beautifully Savage Butterfly by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Being savage in the ring is one thing. The way Elio Moretti craves Orion's violence outside the ring is another. He can live with owing money to the Morettis, can even live with the constant guilt that his brother is the one paralyzed in a hospital bed while he lives his dream. What he can’t live with is Elio Moretti, second in command to the infamous crime family, showing up to all his fights, sitting in the front row, watching him like he can’t look away, and barging into the locker room to patch up his wounds and invading his space. The Morettis are monsters. Vicious, brutal sociopaths. So, why is Elio so eager to get on his knees for Orion? He’s as desperate to give up control as Orion is to take it, but is giving in to these primal urges enough of a reason to sell his soul? He claims there are worse people in this city than his family, and the deeper Orion gets dragged into his world, the more true that’s starting to seem. Can he really fall in love with a Mafia underboss? Is it even possible to walk away?

This was a dramatic story with violence throughout as it was a feature of their relationship. I loved the way that Elio was the boss in public but Orion was the boss at home. The love between the two men was unmistakable. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Deadly Little Sparrow by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Deadly Little Sparrow

Deadly Little Sparrow by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sparrow may be small and pretty, but what he lacks in intimidation factor, he makes up for in violence. He made a vow five years ago that the motorcycle club responsible for his brother’s death would pay the price, and is finally ready to collect. Accidentally breaking the nose of the deadliest man in the city wasn’t his best move. Xaviaro Saviano, trigger man for the Moretti Crime Family and now Sparrow's personal stalker who also appears to want to help. As strange as it sounds, Xaviaro seems to want to help. Threatening him feels like foreplay, tying him up only turns him on. He calls Sparrow his Deadly Little Sparrow from his knees. Can love and revenge live in the same heart?

This was an intense story which demonstrated that even the hardest men can be submissive. Sparrow was an intelligent guy doing his best to avenge his brother's death while being the right Dominant for Xavi. Easy to read, feel and understand there were some intense emotions and feelings around a violent environment. This was MM story with mature content set in a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.

Review: Dirty Trick by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Dirty Trick (Palm Island #3)

Dirty Trick by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Trick pretended to sleep with tons of men just to keep Boston from hooking up with them which could be regarded as a Dirty Trick but he doesn't regret it. Telling Boston about it would be the sensible thing do but logic has never been Trick's strong suit so he decided to go the - “get under his skin until hostility turns into affection” - route instead. Will there be real feelings underneath once he’s worked off all his annoyance with Trick? I guess only time will tell.

This was a story about how sometimes a lie becomes so big that it continues on and on until it causes far more problems. I was rooting for them to become a couple just like everyone else and so I was thrilled when they finally came clean and worked past the hurts of the past. Both men were passionate it was just that their passions were not directed at each other at the same time until the air had been cleared. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Taken by Storm by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Taken by Storm (Palm Island #2)

Taken by Storm by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Chef Storm is moody, antisocial, hot-tempered and someone that most people on the island avoid although he doesn't frighten Henderson because he has also caught him feeding a stray cat. When Storm's ex-husband shows up unexpectedly during the off-season and refuses to go home, pretending to be Storm’s boyfriend is Henderson's new job. But faking it should not be so much fun. Is there anything more exciting than being swept up in a storm? Maybe taming one…

I enjoyed this story with the moody yet kind chef and Henderson who worked for him. I think the easy way that they worked together was like a form of foreplay and the ex-husband's visit was just the push that they needed to explore something more between them. I loved the timely interactions with Raven. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Perfect Ten by K.M. Neuhold 3 of 5 stars

Perfect Ten (Palm Island #1)

Perfect Ten by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Bambi (Ryan) went to Palm Ialdn two seasons ago confused about life and desperate for a change. But now he wonders if it is time to cut his losses and go back home to med school like he had always planned. When tattooed, breathtaking and flirtatious bartender Ten (Tennyson) whom he has been crushing on for ages offers to let him room with him for this off-season there is no way he is leaving yet. Ten is determined that Bambi finally sees the beauty of nature on the island, how to catch a wave and everything that the island has to offer. Will this be the last off-season Bambi spends here or could this thing between Ten and him be perfect?

This was a sweet romance. I loved that the characters were so real although I did find Ten's change from sleeping with everything that moves to being solely for Bambi a little sudden and hard to believe. The joy that Bambi felt as he saw and tried new things was lovely to experience with him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Stubborn Boys by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Stubborn Boys (Perfect Boys #3)

Stubborn Boys by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Daddy Aiden liked a challenge and had no problem with a bratty boy; here he was considering two stubborn boys. Gannon was returned home five years ago from the military with scars on one side of his body and a missing leg which he learnt to live with. He loves Nolan but there is no way he would tie him to a man who has a vital part of his anatomy not working. Aiden meddles to get them together and as part of that, it becomes clear that Aiden fixes the part of Gannon that was broken. This begs the question - will the three of them be able to find a way to fit together?

I enjoyed this story with Gannon and Nolan who already loved each other and how Aiden became the glue to stick the three of them together. I thought it was a very Daddy thing to fix Gannon and Nolan first before the introduction of himself so they became the three of them. Lots of emotions in this story. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content and BSDM-like Daddy/boy dynamics.

Review: Brave Boy by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Brave Boy (Perfect Boys #2)

Brave Boy by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Emerson has been used to being on his own and even though it is lonely it is all he knows and so he loses himself to books as they have never let him down. At his friend's suggestion, he starts to talk only to someone described as LonelyDaddy and because it is not face-to-face his stutter is not a factor and he loves it. He has a suspicion that it could be the man he has been lusting over for ages - tall and red-haired Kiernan - who is always gentle with him and gives him the time to speak even though he cannot string more than two words together around him. Could LonelyDaddy be Kiernan? And if he is, is there any chance he’ll want to keep Emerson? Can he be his brave boy?

I loved this story with the shy and quiet Emerson who struggled with his stammer and the caring Kiernan who was just nuts about him and wanted to care for him. This was a fitting second book to the story and I loved the gentle way that Kiernan looked after Emerson and understood the way to support him and his stutter. At times I wanted to hug Emerson and tell him that his Daddy was there and just to be patient. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy dynamic.

Review: Pretty Boy by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Pretty Boy (Perfect Boys #1)

Pretty Boy by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sterling has a port wine birthmark on over half of his face and in the little Texas town he grew up in he has always been known as ugly. With no confidence and few prospects he is working in a bar then a tall, gorgeous man walks in. Barrett talks to him as if he is the most beautiful person he has ever seen and says he wants to take him away from the bar and everything he has ever known. Can he believe him or will he cast him aside when he has got over the novelty of being with such an ugly man? Calling him Daddy makes it all seem possible but would anyone want an ugly person like Sterling forever?

This was a sweet story with Sterling who had a hard life made so much worse by his birthmark. I loved all the descriptions of the area he lived in and the situation he was living in. I loved Sterling and just wanted to hug him so he felt loved and appreciated at times. I loved his determination not to live off Barrett's money and to have his own income. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an instalove story which was MM and contained mature content.

Review: Daddy Cam by K.M. Neuhold 3 of 5 stars

Daddy Cam

Daddy Cam by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Saxon and Felix had been best friends for years (and pining for each other too). Felix is the CEO of a multi-million dollar tech company and Saxon is a personal trainer who also has a highly successful Daddy Cam Channel. Neither has the courage or bravery to tell the other of their feelings for the other. When Felix is made aware of Saxon's channel he can't stop watching it. When Saxon catches him in the act of enjoying himself sexually it opens the door for them both to talk and give them a chance at a future together as a couple.

This was a really sweet story which takes the two best friends into something much more thanks to a couple of events. I liked that Saxon was already like Felix's Daddy by feeding him and helping him with domestic stuff. I loved their relationship and the way that Saxon took action when Felix worked too late. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

** Please note this was originally in the Dirty Daddies anthology as Daddy's Toy but has been expanded significantly.

Review: Lube Job by K.M. Neuhold 3 of 5 stars

Lube Job (Big Bull Mechanics #5)

Lube Job by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is the story of Riggs and Shep. Both seem to be serial hookup guys although they stop that when Riggs becomes Shep's roommate and the sexual tension between them both ratchets up. Casual sex between them scratches the itch without commitment but Shep eventually starts to have feelings. Riggs works out he is ARO and that is why he is the way he is.

I enjoyed this story but there was far too much sex and whilst Shep was very understanding I did think that Riggs was just inconsiderate and over the top with the way he ignored or verbally abused Shep. I did love the way that the whole garage of mechanics came together once they knew the way Riggs was. I did love the ending and Vel was sometimes a far better character than Riggs. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Rear Ended by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Rear Ended (Big Bull Mechanics #4)

Rear Ended by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Henry had been a big thing in Chicago but his start-up went under leaving him penniless after years of eighty-hour weeks. Now forty-eight, he is living with his brother and starting from scratch as the office manager at the garage. When he starts work it becomes apparent that a recent hook-up is one of his co-workers. If Auggie wasn’t tempting enough with all of the tattoos and his surprisingly sweet smile, now Henry is spending all day watching him work. Auggie is covered in grease, with his overalls half-zipped and Henry can't stop looking at him. Henry has real self-esteem issues and is trying to stay detached but Auggie keeps baking him cookies and touching him and what's not to love?

This book was such fun with all of the puns and quips as well as the banter. The relationship between Henry and Auggie started from a hookup but developed into a friendship and then something far more meaningful. The emotions felt but the characters were easy to feel and understand. I loved the ending. This is an MM story with mature content.

Stick Shift (Big Bull Mechanics #3)

Stick Shift by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Red has had a hopeless crush on his straight best friend travel blogger Journey. Over the years they have stayed in touch via text messages and video chats. Neither of them has a clue how to run the small farm his uncle left him but Red is happy to stand next to him and figure it all out even if they have to share a bed. But Journey starts to change - looking at Red differently and touching him.

I didn't enjoy this one in the series as much as the others. I found the way that Red immediately moved into the farmhouse with Journey and was all for selling his house a little too far-fetched. I also found the bi-awakening a bit too fast and contrived. I did find the animal stories enchanting and the learning from online videos quite typical of modern times. Easy to read and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Stroker (Big Bull Mechanics #2)

Stroker by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Steele's best friend Tallahassee married his little brother Gates eight years ago before Gates left and broke his heart. Steele has no idea. When Gates shows up needing a place to stay TYal immediately offers his spare room and is determined to stay away from him. Gates starts to try to get a rise out of Tal tie-dying his clothes, removing his bedroom door and replacing hand soap with lube. When Gates tells Tal his Stroker Rod is broken he gets hands-on with the problem. Surely they can have a physical relationship and not bring in emotions?

I enjoyed this story with the two men who loved each other but Gates was struggling with his ADHD which caused him to not stick with anything and he didn't feel he was good enough for Tal. There was just so much passion between these two men they just needed the right time to be able to remain together and be happy. The charade with Steele was funny and I was so pleased that Steele's partner Porter was able to make him accept and understand that it was ok. Easy to read, follow and understand there were lots of emotions here, especially around the operation Gates had to have. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Crankshaft by K.M. Neuhold 4 of 5 stars

Crankshaft (Big Bull Mechanics #1)

Crankshaft by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Steele is a busy man running his garage of mechanics and sometimes bailing out his brother so the last time he has is a relationship. Too many times he has tried and it always fails to the point it is a running joke in the garage so no more boyfriends. Porter is the local veterinarian and as the one vet at his practice he works crazy hours as many times as they meet up, Porter constantly falls asleep drunk or exhausted in Steele's bed even if he looks cute with oil smears as Steele teaches him how to fix up the vintage car he has rusting away in his garage. Can they remain as just friends who occasionally fiddle with each other's crankshaft?

I enjoyed this start to the series where we met Steele and Porter as they started their relationship. I loved the way that Steele looked after Porter even though he was insisting they were not in a relationship. I loved the way that they were in love with each other well before they admitted it to themselves let alone each other. I thought that the Gates and Tallahassee situation was a little too prominent given that they are the subject of the next book in the series. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Painted Lace

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Accountant Austin never realised that his life was so grey until he had a hookup with Keaton who injected his life with a rainbow of colour. Having spent time together and learning more about it other what started as a casual hookup is slowly becoming so much more, and I find myself loving the beautiful mess more than I expected. Can two people so different really make it work once feelings get involved?

I enjoyed this story with the boring Austin and the vibrant artist Keaton who were both determined not to be anything more than an occasional hookup but just couldn't help themselves from becoming so much more to each other. I loved the way that Keaton realised at the end that his previous way of living was so much less than the new way with Autin in his life and his art. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
