Dante, desperate and unhinged, forces mafia capo Salvatore Moretti into marriage at gunpoint. Haunted by his past and demons, Dante finds unexpected protection and unraveling of his defenses in Salvatore, who sees him as his "little angel." As their bond deepens, Dante begins to crave the safety and connection Salvatore offers, even as danger looms. What starts as a forced arrangement begins to feel real, leaving Dante questioning if their marriage could be more than just a means of survival.
This was an entertaining read as Dante was so fierce and managed to make Salvatore do things (although I believe that Sal humoured him and could have easily taken back control). Some emotions and feelings which were easy to feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
