Damien “Stone” Sloan can’t stand Nico “Stix” Jamieson—his relentless cheerfulness, his teasing, and the constant drumming that grates on his nerves. Yet, despite his irritation, he can’t seem to stop obsessing over him. Nico, on the other hand, is both intrigued and intimidated by Stone, unsure why he’s hated but unable to resist pushing his buttons. Beneath Stone’s hardened exterior, Nico senses something deeper—pain, fear, and vulnerability—and he’s determined to uncover the real Damien, no matter how much resistance he faces.
I loved this story with the two men who started off with Stone being irritated by Stix but eventually they became so much more to each other. I loved Alpha and the way that he helped people as he built a family of his staff. Lots of emotions and feelings in this story. This was an MM story with mature content.
