Blaze (Aiden), once wealthy but now disgraced, finds himself drawn to Jaxon "Ajax" Kean, despite their mutual animosity. Blaze needs Ajax in ways he can't ignore, even if it means swallowing his pride. Ajax, harbouring resentment toward Blaze for past actions, struggles with his own feelings after a heated encounter. As their tension builds, both must confront their emotions and decide if they can navigate their complicated dynamic without losing themselves in the process.
I enjoyed this story with the enemies to lovers vibe as both men learnt more about each other. This was a story full of emotions and feelings especially for Aiden. I understand what Ajax did for Aiden but I wasn't sure how comfortable I was with it. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like D/s dynamic.
