This was an enjoyable story as Lucien rescued Kai but then was targeted by his previous 'owner' and what happened next. I loved the way that Lucien cared for Kai and the trip he was taken on. I was fully on-board with Kai and hoping that this was a better life for him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
