Review: Savage by Brooke Blaine by Ella Frank 4 of 5 stars

Savage

Savage by Brooke Blaine by Ella Frank
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Park Avenue Kings—seven powerful heirs—rule Manhattan from the shadows, wielding wealth and influence with ruthless precision. Among them, Lachlan Stone is the enforcer, the one who makes problems disappear. When he unexpectedly saves Cooper Patterson, a relentless journalist, their worlds collide. Cooper is everything Lachlan should avoid, but their undeniable connection threatens to expose the Kings' secrets. As danger escalates, Lachlan must decide whether to protect the empire he’s built or risk everything for the man who sees through his darkness.

This was an enjoyable story with the two men who were from different backgrounds but had an undeniable draw to each other. I loved that they found a way to be together and achieve their goals without any unacceptable compromise. There was plenty of danger and drama as Lachlan and the other Kings fought against the scourge of drugs in their area.  Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
