This is a sweet story about single dad Davis Jackson, who runs a coffee shop and feels lonely. He has an instant connection with a handsome but seemingly unhappy man. When Davis learns the man is a recently outed veterinarian Scott, he senses he's hurting. The story focuses on their budding friendship and whether they'll take a chance on love.
I loved this story with the friendship between them both which then became something much more. Davis's daughter was a sweetheart and Scott was so good with her. I loved the drama around both men and the way that they handled it. Lots of emotions and feelings as they both handled everything thrown at them. This was an MM story with mature content.
