My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Rhett, the eldest Swift brother, struggles with guilt over not protecting his siblings from their abusive father. Now that he’s finally broken free, he faces the reality of having spent his life becoming someone he despises. As his brothers move forward, Rhett finds unexpected warmth in Tripp Cassidy and his daughter, Meadow. Tripp challenges Rhett to explore his own dreams, while their growing connection leads Rhett to confront feelings he’s never experienced before. With Tripp’s past wounds and Meadow’s well-being in the balance, Rhett must figure out if he’s ready to claim the happiness he never thought possible.
I loved this story as we learnt more about the final Swift brother and saw him find his own HEA. I loved that he found peace and that it really wasn't his responsibility to protect his younger brothers. There were lots of emotions and feelings in this story for everyone but it was still an enjoyable story. This was an MM story with mature content.
