Hiding From Laughter

Hiding From Laughter by M.A. Innes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a lighthearted, relationship-driven story about Ashton, who is regretting being a little too honest while crafting under the influence. His "jar of fantasies" has now led to an awkward situation where he’s struggling to explain himself—or maybe just avoid the conversation altogether. Micha, his perceptive partner, knows Ashton is hiding something amusing, and is waiting to see how long Ashton can keep up the charade before finally confessing. As their playful dynamic unfolds, their bond strengthens through laughter, teasing, and unexpected closeness.

This was a fun read and a mix of humour, nervous tension, and affectionate moments wrapped in a fun, personal discovery. Ashton was hilarious at times and Micha was careful and very thoughtful. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like D/s and DDLB dynamic.
