Fulton has built a life centered around his work as a veterinarian and his beloved rescued cats, convinced that love isn't in the cards for him. But when Bishop, a charming stranger seeking a fresh start, unexpectedly enters his world, Fulton finds himself questioning everything. As their connection grows, Fulton wonders if this second chance could lead to something real—or if he’s just setting himself up for heartbreak.
I loved this story with the concept of half birthdays and a chance meeting. Fulton was crazy and the comparison to a cat lady fit him well. Bishop was doing so well handling his past and I loved the way he got the Vet Shop Boys to relate to being him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
