Tom let Vinnie seduce him. He was an easy mark. He would have granted him anything, but he didn't know who he was and didn't know he was setting a man up for death. But even now, he still wants him, and he has no intention of letting Tom go.
This was a sweet short story that had plenty of analysis of thoughts and feelings as Tom struggled with what he had witnessed and the decisions he needed to make about his future. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
