Henry had been a big thing in Chicago but his start-up went under leaving him penniless after years of eighty-hour weeks. Now forty-eight, he is living with his brother and starting from scratch as the office manager at the garage. When he starts work it becomes apparent that a recent hook-up is one of his co-workers. If Auggie wasn’t tempting enough with all of the tattoos and his surprisingly sweet smile, now Henry is spending all day watching him work. Auggie is covered in grease, with his overalls half-zipped and Henry can't stop looking at him. Henry has real self-esteem issues and is trying to stay detached but Auggie keeps baking him cookies and touching him and what's not to love?
This book was such fun with all of the puns and quips as well as the banter. The relationship between Henry and Auggie started from a hookup but developed into a friendship and then something far more meaningful. The emotions felt but the characters were easy to feel and understand. I loved the ending. This is an MM story with mature content.
