When writer Kit arrives at Collier's Creek he is looking for a change of scenery and solitude to move past his writer's block. He has a novel to finish and that has to be his priority. Felix was born in Collier's Creek and had no plans to return but after a nasty breakup, he decides to help a friend by managing the coffee shop. Felix is drawn to the mysterious older man who says he wants nothing more than conversation. Now he needs to convince Kit to ignore the town gossip about their age gap and theories about his past. If Felix has his way, they’ll find the happy ending they’ve both been searching for.
I enjoyed this story of the elusive author and the younger man who is drawn to him and their growing friendship before something more physical. I enjoyed the way that Felix cared for Kit by feeding him and making sure that he was secure and comfortable in his cabin. I was so pleased when they got their HEA at the end. It was a real romance with all the feels. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
