Harris travels for fourteen hours during a storm to collect a dog in need of a home when on the way home he passes a bus stop with a person who doesn't look alive. When Jesse left the trailer in the dead of the night he had no plan apart from getting away and not dying at the hands of his partner. After an hour of walking, he curls up at a bus stop waiting for peace to finally find him. He wakes up after Harris picks him up and loads him into the cab of a warm truck.
This was a sweet story of the abused boy and the daddy who was patient with him and made sure that he was safe, cared for, healed and comfortable with life before entering into the kind f relationship he was desperate to have with him. Harris was a really kind and sweet man who had so much self-control even though he was quick to sort things out when the time was right. Easy to read, feel and understand I loved the way that Luna knew that Jesse needed comfort and was determined to do that. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.
