Gideon has been nicknamed Cutie the Cop by his new friend Austin and he knows that there is more to life than work and being at home to sleep. But he can't share what he is and wants with just anyone but when Austin drags him to a private BSDM club he has a decision to make - continue to hide or take a chance and hope he can find love. Jarrett knows that his fated mate is out there but that doesn't help the alpha Daddy who is never what most omegas are looking for. When a shy submissive is thrust into his arms during an altercation at the club he knows that things have turned around but he needs to convince the small, bashful alpha that he is worthy of his trust. Sometimes secrets can drive people apart, but sometimes sharing those secrets is what can bring them together.
I really enjoyed this story with shy Gideon being so brave and taking a chance for happiness with a little help and interference from Austin. Jarrett was the right mixture of gentle and encouraging as well as fierce and strong. I loved the gentle way that their relationship started and developed as they got to know each other. It was great to see how easy it was for Gideon to slip into his little so that he could destress after his work day. Easy to read, feel and understand it was great to be able to really empathise with the characters and their emotions, hopes and dreams. This is an MM story containing mature content in a BSDM-like DDLB-like dynamic set in the omegaverse with some ABDL (diapers).
