Bailey finds his step-brother Alec after he abandoned him to stay living with this monster or a father. As Alex has reinvented himself and is a psychology professor Bailey intends to ruin him to pay him back for everything he has gone through. But looking at him, all he sees in Alex's eyes is love and desire. How far will these two go to move past the events in their history?
This was very dark and a little suspension of belief is needed at times, but they did seem to be happy together in the end. Their way of living at the end was a surprise as I had hoped they would move on from it. There is a lot of violence in this story which matches the story but is a little shocking at times. Easy to read and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
