Felix Hennessy has lived a pretty hedonistic lifestyle in London but has made another bad choice and so plans to lie low in a luxury hotel but the weather has other ideas and a snowstorm means that he is stranded and has been forced to seek shelter in a tiny village pub. The cute young barman looks like he could be a good distraction during his stay. Gabriel York believes that home is where the heart is and he has no intention of living anywhere else. His future is to settle down there with someone steadfast to build a future with. Felix is intriguing but he is a city boy and will go back when the snow clears.
I enjoyed this sweet Christmas story with the way it was around the two men but was also all about the community there, the traditions and the way that everything was intertwined. Felix and Gabriel were definitely opposites in many ways but they also worked together very well. I did find the friendliness of the villagers a nice touch although having lived somewhere like this the locals were really not that friendly. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
