Jamie and Benji are neighbours, forever best friends and coowners of a treehouse. Benji has loved Jamie for as long as he can remember but has never dared to talk to him about it scared that it will ruin things between them and so he has thrown himself into being the best friend that he could ever be even though he suffers from severe anxiety and that Jamie is the one who is always there for him and able to calm him down. Then following an invite to the treehouse from Jamie, everything changes and both wonder if thirty-three is too old to realise the man of their dreams has been right next to them all along.
This was an adorable story with the two best friends who become so much more. I loved their friendship and the way that Jamie was always looking after Benji and making sure that he knew that he would take him away from situations if he couldn't cope anymore. I loved the ending of the story and the way that even then Jamie was still looking after Benji. Easy to read and feel you will definitely feel empathy and involvement in the relationship between the two men. This is an MM story with mature content.
