Charlie Randall was abused by his father and pimped out until he died. After a series of jobs, he finally interviews for one worth staying for. Andrew Fielding is smart, good-looking and very kind. He has never taken advantage of Charlie or hinted at anything inappropriate - Charlie has no idea what his sexuality is or if there is a significant other out there. What he does have is an unwavering belief that Charlie can accomplish anything he sets his mind to. When Andrew gets sick Charlie realises that his boss isn't straight and would be happy to fulfill Charlie's darkest desire. Charlie wants a daddy. Charlie wants one of those sexy, kinky, gay daddies who live to take care of their boy but Charlie has enough emotional baggage and no sane man would want anything to do with Charlie no matter how hot he is. Fortunately, Andrew isn’t like anyone else Charlie has ever met.
This is such a sweet story of the strong and caring Daddy who just wants to help his damaged boy to be the best he can be and be happy. I just wanted to hug Charlie and tell him that he was worth far more than any of the people who had used him in the past. I admired Andrew and his restraint to make sure that Charlie was sure before they did anything more physical. This will pull at your heartstrings. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a DDLB dynamic.
