Review: Heal Me by Beck Grey 5 of 5 stars

Heal Me (Love in the Pacific Northwest, #5)

Heal Me by Beck Grey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lawyer Jocelin Allard has repeatedly said no to his boss's pushy nephew but he still isn't accepting it so he created a fake boyfriend who is always busy. Then at a client event, his bluff is called and he begs a handsome stranger to play his boyfriend although he then realises that he is his best friend's brother Gunnar who also volunteers to continue it beyond one night. Architect Gunnar finds that Jocelin is smart, gorgeous and has a sexy accent. The evening goes well and so the relationship turns real until Gunnar screws up and needs to do something to try and fix it.

I just loved this story with the two men who had such an instant attraction even if their relationship had an unorthodox start and then quickly progressed into something much more. Gunnar was there to help Jocelin get past work complications from the rejection of the boss's nephew but then screwed up badly after he had his own problem and handled it badly. There were times in this book when I wanted to shake Gunnar, cry with Jocelin and shudder with horror when Jocelin's parents just arrived unannounced. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.
