Bailey is one of the omega Elves working in the Barrington Christmas Market. Since the death of his Papa, his family comes first and he does everything he can to look after the other kids and support his Dad. Then he met baker and alpha, Crispin Merriweather and developed a major crush on him. He needs to win the Market’s Booth of the Week prize, and Bailey needs to help him do it. Crispin needs to win or there is a real danger he will lose his bakery and everything he has worked the last ten years for. This is made much worse as an old enemy is sabotaging him. Can Bailey and Crispin work together and save the bakery and get the ultimate reward of lasting love?
This was a sweet story with an alpha and omega fated mates meeting, working together to save a bakery and find a way to be together. I loved Bailey's optimism and the way that right from the start he supported his alpha. I did find that the ending and the ownership of the building were very conveniently sorted out and seemed against everything Bailey's Dad was trying to achieve. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and is set in the Omegaverse with the possibility in the future of Mpreg.
