Review: A Little Christmas: Raymond by A.W. Scott 3 of 5 stars

A Little Christmas: Raymond

A Little Christmas: Raymond by A.W. Scott
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Raymond has been on his own since he was 15 and has to work nonstop to keep a roof over his head. He has been sick for ages but no one seems to know what is wrong and so he soldiers on. When his apartment becomes infested his safe place becomes unliveable and so he finds himself homeless. Instead of trying to find a solution he spends time with his new friend Finn. Pro football player Aries is energetic, goofy, athletic and loyal. He is also very jealous as his best friend Bellamy just found the love of his life in the form of Finn and so Aries realises he needs a partner who is a boy of his own. A chance meeting at a coffee shop drops Aries right in the path of a sweet, shy boy whom he wouldn't mind taking care of.

This was a sweet story that had poor Raymond doing everything he could to cope with taking care of himself while desperately needing a Daddy to take care of him. He hit the jackpot with Aries and his family who were all dedicated to making sure that he was safe and happy. I loved the way that his medical problem was simple to fix and nothing as bad as it seemed. Aries was a joy and so loving and giving to Raymond and his friends. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.
