Oscar inherited a house from a relative he never knew existed and has now moved to a new city into that house and started a new job. It's all a bit overwhelming and he needs a Daddy to help him handle it all so he can slip into his little space and survive. Maxwell lives next door and he is a sexy Daddy who doesn't seem to want a Little permanently but maybe for now Oscar can survive with the playtime he is willing to give.
I had so much sympathy for Oscar when he found himself in a house on his own in a new town without friends or a Daddy nearby to care for him. Maxwell showed all of the signs of wanting to be his Daddy he just lacked the confidence to fully take on the role. I just wanted to hug Oscar and tell him everything would be ok. I loved some of the side characters who were so kind to Oscar as well as trying to persuade Maxwell that he was enough. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
