A sweet friends‑to‑lovers romance about two best friends figuring out what their hearts already solved.

I love this series and its adorable geeks, and Max and Leo’s friendship is one of my favourites. Their bond is so sweet and supportive — but the slow, drawn‑out process of them finally working out their true feelings became a bit too painful to read, especially when the answer seemed obvious from the start. I did love the dramatic allergy incident and how it led to a meaningful change in event policies; it added real weight to the story and showed how much their community cared. As always with this series, the story was full of emotions and feelings, blending drama, danger, and personal growth into a deeply heartfelt journey around Max and Leo. This was an MM story with mature content.

This is a sweet, chaotic opposites‑attract MM college romcom about Luca, an anxious, hyper-organised genius, and Del, a golden‑retriever‑hearted artist who keeps literally crashing into him. Their accidental run‑ins turn into friendship, then something deeper, as Del coaxes Luca out of his shell and Luca grounds Del’s whirlwind energy. With meddling friends, plenty of laughs, and a false accusation that threatens what they’re building, the story blends humour, heart, and found‑family warmth as two very different guys discover they fit together perfectly.

A funny, heartfelt, and unexpectedly emotional read.  Luca and Del start with the sweetest, gentlest spark—awkward run‑ins, shy smiles, and two complete opposites slowly learning how to fit into each other’s worlds. Their relationship grows with such warmth and patience that when the false accusation hits, it genuinely hurts. The heartbreak is real, and watching them navigate that moment made their connection feel even deeper. The Geek Squad absolutely stole the show for me. They’re chaotic, hilarious, and loyal in the most endearing, slightly meddling way. Their support adds so much heart to the story and makes the world feel wonderfully lived‑in. Between the humour, the big emotions, and the tender way these two men fall for each other, this book delivers all the feels. I’m already excited for the next instalment in the series. This was an MM story with mature content.

Now on the West Coast and finally acknowledging his attraction to men, he looks for someone confident and out to help him figure things out. Sebastian, a stressed med student who can handle complex science but panics at public speaking, ends up paired with Gavin — a huge, sweet, slightly clueless jock. Gavin offers to help him pass the class if Sebastian teaches him “how to be gay.” Their deal quickly turns into something deeper in this sunshine‑and‑grump, bi‑awakening romance filled with meddling frat brothers and a homophobic family that really should stay away.

This was such a sweet, emotional story, and the connection between Gavin and Sebastian is undeniable from the moment their deal begins. Even though they come from very different worlds — and both carry their own hurts — they fit together in a way that feels natural and deeply heartfelt. One of my favourite parts was the support Gavin received from his frat brothers and the football team. Their easy acceptance and genuine protectiveness gave the story so much warmth, especially in contrast to the negativity coming from elsewhere in his life. Sebastian, meanwhile, was absolutely adorable, and his wonderfully geeky housemates added the perfect dose of chaotic, loving energy. The mix of humour, vulnerability, and emotional growth made this a lovely, feelings‑filled read. A gentle, affirming romance with two characters who truly deserved the happiness they found in each other. This was an MM story with mature content.

James and Caleb have an undeniable pull between them from the start, and what makes their connection so compelling is how clearly both men are carrying their own damage. They’re grumpy, guarded, and used to keeping people at arm’s length — which makes it all the more affecting when they start letting each other in. Caleb’s family’s treatment of James is genuinely heartbreaking. Their cruelty and intrusiveness add a sharp emotional edge to the story, especially as they try to drive a wedge between the two without caring who they hurt. Those moments deepen the stakes and highlight just how much James and Caleb need someone who chooses them, not despite their flaws but because of who they are. There’s a surprising amount of emotion packed into this holiday romance, and it gives the story real depth beneath the humour and fake‑dating fun. A warm, heartfelt read with two beautifully imperfect men finding something real in the middle of all the chaos. This was an MM story with mature content.

What really stood out to me was Tyler’s determination to show Ethan that he deserves to be cherished openly, not hidden away or treated like an inconvenience. Watching him gently, consistently push back against Ethan’s past hurts gives the story a lovely emotional core. The humour throughout is fantastic, balancing the heavier moments with genuine laugh‑out‑loud scenes. I also loved how naturally the book normalises consent, respect, and basic decency — it’s woven into the story without ever feeling preachy, just part of how these characters choose to treat each other. A fun, warm, and affirming college romance that’s easy to read, easy to feel, and full of heart.
