Naughty & Nice

Naughty & Nice by D.J. Jamison
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jonas and his ex‑stepbrother Quinn are snowed in together after a blizzard rescue, and a long‑buried attraction turns into a hot‑tub kiss that changes everything. As they wait for Jonas’s family to arrive, they have to face whether their forbidden, cabin‑bound intimacy can survive once the holidays begin.

This was a great Christmas story filled with all the close‑proximity tension and ex‑stepbrother emotions that make this kind of setup so compelling. I especially loved that Quinn had finally escaped his abusive ex, Clay which was a huge, meaningful step for him and I would have loved to see that explored even more because it was such an important win. There were a lot of emotions and feelings throughout, all easy to understand and connect with, and the dynamic between Jonas and Quinn felt warm, careful, and full of genuine affection. Their time together in the cabin had just the right mix of sweetness and vulnerability, making this a festive, heartfelt read. This was an MM story with mature content.
