My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Saylor has lived in fear since witnessing a violent robbery, but everything changes when special forces officer Max Zion helps her through a panic attack. His calm, protective presence quickly becomes the first place she’s felt truly safe. As their connection deepens, Max helps her find stability and trust again, giving her the grounding she needs to heal from her trauma.
This was a sweet Daddy story where Max finds his forever little girl, and I loved how naturally he kept Saylor calm and grounded. Their connection felt gentle and reassuring, with just enough spark to make their dynamic engaging. I also really enjoyed the way the other little girls supported each other when the team was deployed added a warm, communal touch to the story. There was a bit of danger and drama, but not a lot of deep emotions, making this a nice, quick read that focuses more on comfort and connection than heavy feelings. This was an MF story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLG dynamic.
