Luca Neto is focused on one thing: destroying the Enzino family. Kidnapping their mafia prince wasn’t part of the plan, but it leaves him stuck dealing with Art Enzino — tiny, chaotic, flirtatious, and tied to the people who ruined Luca’s life. Art may look like a tempting, elvish twink, but he’s still the enemy: son of the man who destroyed Luca’s family and brother of the monster who scarred him. Luca has waited years for revenge, and he won’t let Art — or anyone — get in the way of finally bringing peace to his parents.
I loved this dark, intense story, especially the way it blended violence, vengeance, and the raw, brutal passion that Luca used to vent his hatred toward the Enzino family. The violent hate‑sex was a deliberate part of his character — a release valve for everything he’d endured — and it fit the tone of the book perfectly. Art’s personality was wonderfully complex, shaped by years of neglect and abuse, and it made his chaotic behaviour feel real rather than exaggerated. Both Luca and Art might seem unhinged on the surface, but the story makes it clear they’re products of their pasts, and that depth made their dynamic compelling. The whole book was packed with emotion and feeling, easy to understand and easy to get swept up in. A dark, dramatic, addictive read. This was an MM story with mature content.
