Avery returns three years after the Daddy’s Boy series, facing big life changes that always make him anxious. Now finished with school and committed to working at the Canine Companion Camp, he’s ready for his next chapter — supported by his Daddy and their found family. That journey includes responding to a surprising, important question Jace suddenly asks.
This was such a sweet short story, the kind that just makes you smile. I loved getting an update on Jace and Avery, and seeing through Gus just how skilled and successful Avery has become at training and matching assistance dogs — it added a lovely, heartwarming layer to the story. The ending was perfect, especially the big question Jace asks and Avery’s adorable reaction. A gentle, feel‑good revisit with characters who continue to grow in all the right ways. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
