Review: Dragon Manny by Minerva Howe 4 of 5 stars

Dragon Manny

Dragon Manny by Minerva Howe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Daniel heads into the Colorado mountains for a manny job and meets Hayden, an intimidating but gorgeous dragon shifter raising his unusually advanced baby, Jacks. Daniel quickly bonds with the child, and Hayden realises there’s far more to Daniel than he expected. Just as their connection begins to grow, danger arrives, forcing them to work together to protect Jacks and the fragile new family forming between them.

Daniel’s easy, natural bond with baby Jacks is what lets him settle into the household so quickly, and it becomes the foundation for everything that follows. As time goes on, it’s clear that his connection with Hayden is deepening too — and that Daniel needs space to learn about dragons as well as explore his own heritage. I loved seeing the three of them grow into a real family, especially when danger struck and they worked together to protect each other. The emotions are gentle, the pacing is smooth, and the story is easy to read and understand. Overall, it’s an enjoyable paranormal romance with warmth, heart, and a lovely sense of found family. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Rudolph by Minerva Howe 3 of 5 stars

Rudolph (Mated at the North Pole #9)

Rudolph by Minerva Howe
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jameson Rudolph is a flight trainer for Santa’s reindeer, and he’s tired of all the reindeer games the recruits are up to this year. So when he gets a notice that it’s time for a mandatory vacation, he wants to go somewhere cold that doesn’t have twinkly lights and perfectly manicured candy cane trees. Roe deer shifter Magnus loves his home in the Scottish Highlands, and he keeps it by renting out the antique cottage on his property as a vacation home to other shifters. When he delivers muffins to Jameson Rudolph Mags decides to see if James is interested in a little holiday fling. But when it turns to more, will they be able to handle it?

his was a sweet story with a grumpy Jameson and a sunny Magnus which all comes to be more meaningful as their relationship deepens. After the initial issues, they had a good relationship. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM relationship with mature content.
