The Ancestral Queen's crew and their captain Solair had no idea when they rescued human women that they were finding their mates. As they learn to live together, crush villains and grab loot, and start a family they realise that their biggest challenge is more likely to be parenthood. They take one final voyage and that involves an ageing archaeologist but they could make a discovery that could shake the world - can they survive, clear everything up and get the HEA they all deserve with their mates and children?
I really enjoyed this story which added new drama and danger but also closed off a few unanswered questions. I loved that Lokyer got his own starring role in this story and that he also had the chance at happiness that he so desperately wanted. There was a lot of new technology and also a lot of ancient knowledge in this story. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
