Review: I Married A Minotaur by Regine Abel 3 of 5 stars

I Married A Minotaur

I Married A Minotaur by Regine Abel
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Rihanna was imprisoned for a crime that she didn't commit when the Prime Mating Agency offers her a deal to commute her sentence - all she has to do is marry an alien who is a mixture of an orc and a minotaur who can be a bit grumpy at times. She is drawn to him even though they have a terrifying appearance (even though he is also very fluffy). When the agency tells Zatruk he has been matched the last thing she expects is such a tiny human. With his people rapidly entering the blood rage with its looming threat of war, he really needs a queen to stand by his side to help stop it. What he finds is that she is sassy, fierce and has all the right skills and ideas in order to support him and save his people.

I enjoyed this story with the sassy Rihanna, the strong and fierce (with soft bits) Zatruk. I really liked the way that they worked together and that her ideas meant that they were able to enact the plan with far more success. They truly need each other. It was also great to see the effect that it had on the whole planet. Easy to read and understand. Contains sexual content.
