Human Calla is caught poaching in the Drozan king's private forest twice by him, In order to avoid punishment by death, she agrees to become the nanny to his two foster children (who are unruly and wild). Teyvan can't help but spend time with the children and Calla as he just can't see to stay away. He likes her forthright manner and the way that she doesn't shy from difficult subjects. They both were trying to fight their attraction but the fates have meant that they will lose that battle at some point.
I enjoyed this story as they started as enemies, became lovers, gained respect for each other, then formed a great partnership. Along the way, the two foster children turned out ok and they became a promising family. I enjoyed the interaction with the children and how she was able to tame them just by listening to them, giving them love and attention, and making them feel wanted. The battles that they faced both together and alone proved that they had the skills and ability to stay together. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains sexual content.
